Mumbai-based artist, Hitesh Gilder, is known for his bold works, each with his signature fluid look. Hitesh started his art journey in 2008 with a focus on sculpture, using metals like brass, bronze and stainless steel to create abstract pieces. However, experimentation with other mediums soon compelled him to add other materials to his repertoire.
His pieces include large reflective stainless steel sculptures splashed with strokes of vivid color interplay with light and shadow. Imagine delicately textured, bright and earth-toned paintings balanced with shining, sensuously curved stainless steel appliques.
Hitesh’s repertoire is filled with shows at prestigious art galleries including solo shows at Jehangir Art Gallery, Tao Mumbai, Mantra Art Gallery. He has also participated in a host of art festivals like India Art Festival, Hindustan Times Art Fair, Affordable Art Fair, Singapore.
